I was going to let this go, but can't resist holding a grudge when the opportunity presents itself.
I popped into the WFF box office today and purchased a ticket to "32A" on Sunday for my wife. There was some woman there in the process of selecting her movies, but speaking very loudly into a cell phone, almost shouting, trying to decide which film to see with the person on the other end of the line. She kept barking movie titles, venues and times. As Charlie Brown would say, "GOOD GRIEF!"
In between barking into the phone, this woman would consult with the two folks selling the tickets, who were patient, patient, patient.
It's too bad that some people in this world are too rude for words and have no manners. It's really pathetic when those people are adults. It's one thing to be in the supermarket or on a train and be dragged into someone's cell phone conversation. But this person was just out of line. The box office is NOT THAT BIG.
Fortunately, every thing else at the WFF has a sheen of pure class, so we can hope to overlook these hiccups of human evolution disguised as people.
There. I'm done. Time for my first movie.
